"ERAS" is modified from John Gerring's "EPOCHS"

In his 1998 book, Party Ideologies in America, 1828-1996, John Gerring divided Democratic party politics into three "Epochs": Jeffersonianism (1828-1892), Populism (1896-1948), and Univeralism (1948-1992).

I modified his classifcation into three nearly identical "Eras" with different titles and slightly different dates, and I extended the classification into the twenty-first century.
