the gap between the red and blue lines and concentrate on
how closely the red line centers toward 0. The closer to
0, the less the deviation of a country's observed score
on Rule of Law from its predicted score.

Law was 0..35. It actually scored 0.44, deviating only
0.09 points above its prediction.

predicted score of -0.25, resulting in an observed score
